I have never seen another photo of this building.  Roland Earsom brought in the photo which I scanned into the computer.  Does anyone know where this business was located, who owned it, when it was built and years of operation, etc?  On page 178 of "Murray County" vol.I, by Opal H. Brown, it says, "According to an early day map, the Frisco and Santa Fe Depots were east and west of Washington Bridge on Rock Creek. (Note: This was circa 1909-1911.) The light Plant was across the street from the Frisco depot." In the 2nd column on that page, we read that "Mr. Swanson of the light company cut off electricity in the park because he and Superintendent French disagreed over services and the bill."

The museum has in its collection some copies of the Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps of old Sulphur Springs and early Sulphur.  I will try to look on them as I have time and see if I can locate this business.

I have been working on the guest comment page and it will work when I test it out, then the next time I try it, it's not working, so I would suggest sending any comments or information to our email address, ahsmc@brightok.net.  Thanks.  Randi
