Memberships and Donations Information

We encourage any interested persons to become a member of the Arbuckle Historical Society of Murray County and help in the preservation of Sulphur and Murray County history.

Individual memberships are $15.00 per year and Family memberships are $25.00.  Checks may be mailed to AHSMC 402 W. Muskogee Ave. Sulphur, OK 73086 or you are welcome to drop by the museum and pay your dues and pick up a membership card.  Membership cards will be mailed within 10 days from receipt of your payment by mail.

Donations are also welcome and are tax-deductible as we are a non-profit 501(c)(3).  Donations may be sent by the same methods as membership dues above.

We appreciate all the support and do our best to be good stewards of our collections and funds.  Salaries for our small part-time staff are funded through a federal government program.  Private donations are used for such things as utilities, upkeep and repairs on the museum building, and displays and preservation of our collections.  For example, an ongoing project is copying and cataloguing the museum's collection of photographs.  We have to buy albums, acid-free sheet protectors, paper and cds to store backup copies on.

Volunteer time is also a valuable contribution and we will gladly give assignments for anyone who wishes!

Join us at the museum and see what our dedicated members have done and continue to achieve!
